Positive: Location is central and the property itself is a novelty (renovated church).
Negative: Parking is difficult. The listing states parking is available - but it’s not: there’s free streetparking or paid parking, but it’s subject to availability. We had issues finding nearby parking. Check-in process is challenging and bizarre. In order to get the key code, the host asked me to call 1 hour before checking in. Since there’s spotty mobile network connection in the Cotswolds, it was hard to get a hold of the host. When we finally got the host on the phone, she asked as to call again once we’re at the property then she’ll give the key code. What could possibly be the reason for this unnecessarily inconvenient and stressful check-in process? All other properties, whether an airbnb or a hotel, provide the check-in details before the arrival date. If you value an easy check-in process, skip this property.
