Positive: The three sisters were warm and welcoming - thank you all! The house and grounds are simply lovely. An old farmhouse beatifully restored, with a very well-cared for and at the same time natural garden. The swimming pool is a true delight, secluded and beautiful. At first we were a little sad that our last-minute booking couldn't include one of the upper floor terrace apartments with uninterrupted views over the valley, but our cosy ground floor flat ("Holmes Oak") had the unexpected bonus of the mini ponies munching their way past our door as we sat amidst the lovely plants :-). Seggiano is a very interesting medieval village, well worth a visit. While it is a bit of a drive to some attractions, the house itself more than makes up for that, and the location is wonderfully peaceful (and the approach track not nearly as adventurous as one or two reviews have stated - simply watch out for the large hole at the entrance gate and then drive slowly up to the house). We felt very much at home here. Dog lovers will be delighted by the five dogs belonging to the friendly brother and his wife :-). Staying in a faceless hotel simply cannot compare with this working agriturismo, where you are supporting a working family and the history of the house and land.

Negative: The couch in the living room was worn out on one side, but otherwise we loved the warmth and loving care of the interior.
