Plantation: The Palms is located in a historic, Civil War area with a 6,000 acre wildlife refuge, historic Fort Morgan and the ferry to Dauphin Island. We are located on the 4th floor with a fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico and the white sugar sand beach.
This is a one bedroom unit with a king bedroom along with a flat screen TV/DVD, twin bunks in the hallway and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The unit sleeps 6 people and has one bath. The living area has a flat screen TV and DVD, sofa bed, dining area for four with two bar stools in kitchen area.
The kitchen is fully equipped and there is seating for 4 on the porch. Having a beautiful view while you sit on the balcony will be a memory to take home with you. There are a lot of shared amenities on the property.
Two outdoor pools, indoor pool, one hot tubss. Sauna, elevator and a boardwalk to the beach. Enjoy high speed wireless internet, BBQ area, onsite snack bar and an exercise room.

Summary: We enjoyed our time very much. The resort has what we like and unit is well maintained and furnished. My only complaint is a matter of personal preference as we like a firm mattress and it was very soft. Great to wake to enjoy the sounds of the surf from balcony.
