Your family getaway awaits in this single-family rental in the heart of Southie. Lots of room for families of all ages! This home is situated in a picturesque, calm, and quiet part of Boston but is also just a few blocks from beaches, parks, shops, and restaurants, plus public transportation that takes you directly to the Back Bay, Seaport, or Downtown.
The Space:
Your home away from home has everything you need to enjoy Southie, including proximity to restaurants, shopping, and the beach, plus easy access to the Boston Convention and Exposition Center!
The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/serving necessities, including cookware, pots, pans, plates, cups, and silverware. Also included are many small appliances, such as a large food processor, slow cooker/rice cooker, baby food maker (steams and purees), and a hand-held mixer. An electric kettle makes tea and pour-over coffee a breeze!
The dining room table has room for the whole family with seating for up to twelve guests.
The living room features designer furniture with an emphasis on comfort, including a Restoration Hardware sofa with down-filled cushions and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams armchairs with custom upholstery. The television is wifi enabled, so you can log into your streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime. Or stream from your Apple device to the Apple TV.
The fully fenced outdoor space has a new brick patio and a beautiful garden! The outdoor shower will help wash off all the sand when you come home from the beach (beach towels and beach chairs are in the downstairs closet). You will also enjoy the deck in the back of the house off the kitchen.
There are three bathrooms. The main bathroom on the second floor has a tub/shower combo with a hand-held shower in addition to a regular shower head. The two en suite bathrooms on the second and lower floors each have a stand-up shower.
Laundry is located on the lower level with a new high-efficiency washer/dryer that is GIANT!
The second floor of the house contains four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. For easy planning, here is the layout:
