Come and stay in our beautiful home during the summer months, set in unspoilt countryside but within walking distance of the beach. This stunning property with swimming pool and jacuzzi sleeps up to eight people. In the main house there are 3 double-bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) a large open-plan living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen and 2 large verandas with stunning views overlooking the sea and the island of Zakynthos. There is a spacious hall with a beautiful piano and a marble staircase leading to the first floor. The living room has a large flat screen tv, dvd player, music centre with a large selection of cds, three sofas and free wi-fi. The dining area has a large table or alternatively you can eat on the veranda or outside on the patio. Each bedroom has a balcony and all the windows in the house (including balcony doors), have fly screens. All rooms have air-conditioning units. The Pool House Annexe comprises a self contained apartment with toilet and shower room and a kitchen for food preparation. The pool house also contains a bar, for our guests' convenience when using the pool and patio and for outside dining. Our large patio includes a shaded area, a barbeque, tables and chairs and sun loungers. Adjoining the patio is a swimming pool with built-in jacuzzi. Our lovely garden surrounds the property and has flower beds and a number of fruit trees. The surrounding coutryside is simply stunning with olive groves all around and views across the valley stretching several kilometres. The famous Xi Beach is less than one kilometre from the villa, within walking distance, and there are also bars, tavernas and restaurants in the local area. There is a mini market in the nearby village (800 metres) and Lixouri, the island's second town is only 5 kilometres away. This is an ideal location for a family holiday. Xi beach is a long, sandy beach, safe for children, but with all kinds of watersports and nearby there is a water park with slides and inflatable rings, providing fun for all ages. Kefalonia is a stunningly beautiful island and a car to see the island is a definite bonus. Car hire can be arranged locally with a pick-up at the airport. However, if you want a complete chill-out with no driving, then there are adequate facilities in the neighbourhood for your needs. I will be available every day for questions, help or advice. My place of business (a souvlaki restaurant at Xi Beach) is less than a kilometre from the house and I will be available in person or by phone whenever needed. We built the house in 2004 for our own use and we designed it with comfort and convenience in mind. We have had many visitors over the past 16 years and are confident that it provides everything that you could wish for to make your ideal holiday dream a reality.
