Just 25 miles from the historic city of Chester, Holly House has some of the most breath taking views imaginable. It is situated at a height of 660 feet above sea levels and has uninterrupted views over rolling countryside to the sea. The Wirral and Liverpool are clearly visible, as it the coastline of England and on a clear day you can even see Blackpool Tower. These views can be appreciated from most of the house as the kitchen and main living areas have floor to ceiling windows. The large conservatory also makes the most of Holly House's wonderful position. The house is quiet and tranquil, set in three and a half acres of grounds. A gate from the garden leads to a public footpath which can be used to reach an award winning conservation village with a quaint country pub less than half a mile away. Perfect for walkers as there are a range of beautiful walks nearby. We can arrange the hire of a hot tub, at an extra cost of approximately £190, and many groups do indeed do so. The popular market town of Prestatyn is only 4 miles away and boasts numerous restaurants and bars. Holly House is within 3 miles of the lovely beach at Talacre so this location offers a seaside experience. Chester and Llandudno are 30 minutes by road or rail from Prestatyn railway station. Prestatyn railway station is on the high speed line to Holyhead and is only two and a half hours from London. The magnificent Snowdonia National Park is only an hour away by car. Holly House was fully renovated in 2011/12 including having a new thatched roof. It has ivory porcelain floor tiles and parquet wooden floors downstairs, furniture and wallpapers by Laura Asley and an electric Aga oven. The kitchen has a dining table that seats 12. The six double bedrooms are configured as five double/king size bedrooms whilst the sixth has twin single beds. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and there is a main bathroom also situated on the first floor. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor. The house also has a games room with pool table, and a table football game that can also be converted to a variety of other games such as air hockey and skittles.
