3 Bedroom House in Park Rapids

Follow the pine trees along the driveway to our private, secluded home on Mantrap Lake. We are located ten miles north of Park Rapids, MN with The Paul Bunyan State Forest as our neighbor. We love seeing the deer and wild turkeys in our yard, the occasional beaver and otter along the shore and listening to the Minnesota Loon. We have 190' of natural shoreline and though Mantrap Lake is best known for its Musky fishing, there are good numbers of Northern Pike, Large and Small Mouth Bass, and pan fish. A public access is 1/2 mile from our dock. We have a 75 foot dock with a boat lift so you'll have quick access to your boat and the lake. Our home is eleven years old. We have a large open kitchen/family room, half bath, laundry room and a Master Suite on the main floor. In our walk-out basement there are two bedrooms and a full bath. We have hair dryers in each full bathroom. Our family and friends compliment us on our comfortable beds and bedding. We have a new queen size air mattress on a sturdy frame that is also available for use. Extra blankets available in each bedroom; also an electric heater if needed. For safety, there are three visible fire extinguishers located in the house and several fire/carbon monoxide alarms. We have an emergency kit in the laundry room. The washer and dryer are available if needed. There is a dehumidifier in the basement bedroom area. Located in a closet off the kitchen is an iron and ironing board. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold drink on our main floor deck or the screened in porch, both with views of the lake. You may use all items in the kitchen... garbage bags, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, and anything in the fridge such as ketchup, mustard, mayo, butter etc. There is one available stall for garage parking with a blacktop driveway that extends 100 feet back from the house. You are truly in the Great Outdoors when you step outside. We have a rustic fire pit with seating. For families of small children, we have a sand and water table for outside, and we recommend you bring their trikes/riding toys to enjoy on the driveway. We have a bag toss to use outside or in the unfinished room downstairs. If it's rainy, we have a small child's table and chairs in the family room with coloring books and colors. In the large unfinished room in the basement, we have a table and four folding chairs. In the family room upstairs there is a large screen TV. HULU is available but you need to use your own account. We do have excellent cell phone service. We have an assortment of DVDs and books. This property is available to rent through April 7, 2019. After that it will be removed from VRBO.
