No neighbors, no noise, no sharing the property with any other guests. It's simply your own private getaway away from it all. Just outside the small predominantly Amish town of Fredericksburg, the cabin is 14 miles to Berlin, 15 miles from Wooster, and 10 miles from Kidron. **Check in times are flexible & just dependent on your needs and the ability for us to have the cabin cleaned and ready for your arrival.** Please note: Our cabin is on a very quiet country road with Amish neighbors. If you are coming here to party, drink or be loud, we are not interested in your business. This is a family oriented community and we are looking for guests who enjoy respecting our community values. For that reason, we have updated our bookings to 24 hour review status with a no smoking and no alcohol policy. The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, pots & pans and everything you need to enjoy a meal. We have an outdoor fire pit (unlimited wood available), an outdoor kettle that functions as a wood burning grill, and a traditional 36" Blackstone propane powered griddle / grill. All the hardware to use the grill is supplied. The cabin is surrounded by farms and Amish neighbors. We ask that you remember to respect the quietness of the area especially after dark. If you want to leave your worries behind and see what life used to be like where neighbors still wave, and strangers treat you like family; then consider Timothy's Farmstead for your secluded vacation spot. When staying at our cabin, the only neighbors (asides from the working Amish farms) you will find are the many forms of wildlife that call our property home including wild turkey's and nightly visits from our resident deer. Unlike other cabin stays that often have numerous cabins on a shared property; our cabin is exclusively yours with no homes in sight. Our road has very little traffic with more buggies and Amish neighbors on bicycles than cars driving by. It's quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive to all of the amenities that the Ohio Amish County has to offer. We take great pride in providing you with a very unique getaway that we often searched for (but could not find) when we visited the area many years ago. We feature three queen beds, one king bed and one twin bed divided among three rooms and can comfortably sleep 8 people. We are a 100% non-smoking property and pet free cabin. Due to the fact that many deer and wild turkeys call our property home, our refundable deposit is not refundable if we discover evidence of smoking during a stay. We also provide towels, fresh linens, a fully stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils & cookware; a Keurig & traditional coffee maker with K-cups provided to get you started the next morning, a gift basket with soap & shampoo, a steamer for ironing your clothing and a washer & dryer. Finally, we can also purchase items for you in advance to leave at the cabin prior to your arrival like cereal, milk, soda, etc. (we will leave the receipt and you can simply reimburse us.) note that we are not responsible for any injuries on the property If you have any question, please don't hesitate to message us.
