This rental is like none other in the community. In addition to brand new furnishings, the ability to accommodate 12 overnight guests, and location right on the golf course, we’ve converted the large garage into an AMAZING game room (details below).
This 5BD, 3.5BA rental, which comfortably sleeps 12, overlooks the 3rd fairway and green of the Jack Nicklaus Signature championship course. The elevated main level features a huge great room with large windows and lots of natural light, gas fireplace, wall-mounted 65” 4K Smart TV with Verizon FIOS’s best channel lineup incl. 455 channels, an Apple TV and a Blu-Ray/DVD player. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. The gourmet kitchen includes granite counter tops and a large breakfast table. The spacious screened-in porch has lounge seating and a breakfast table perfect for a nice summer cookout with a view. The main floor also has a wet bar, “adult parlor room,” puzzle/game room, a fifth bedroom and powder room. The large front porch has plenty of great seating overlooking a communal green space.
The top floor master suite features a king bed, large walk-in closet, private master bathroom and a 55” 4K Smart TV. A private deck with comfy rocking chairs overlooks the course. The top floor 2nd master features a queen bed, walk-in closet, private en suite bathroom and 50” 4K Smart TV. The laundry room is also on the top level.
The ground level features two bedrooms (one with a pair of queen beds and the other with a pair of bunk beds) and a shared Jack & Jill bathroom. The ground level deck is accessible from these two bedrooms and features comfy rockers, tete-a-tete highchairs, a grill and outdoor dining table.
Given ample driveway parking we converted the garage into an EPIC game room featuring ping-pong, foosball, Pop-A-Shot Basketball, two new custom-built multi-cade arcade-style games, a fridge/freezer and wall-mounted 65” 4K Smart TV. This room is perfect for rainy days, for watching the “big game,” for entertaining rambunctious kids, for opening the garage doors to play open-air ping-pong and foosball. Adults love the game room just as much because the multi-cade arcades feature all the games we grew up loving. No quarters necessary!
We contract with a highly professional, specialty cleaning company who uses top of the line, natural cleaning products and pays Natural Cleaning Specialists living wages (in some cases double elsewhere) so that their employees know they are valued and resulting in consistent close attention to detail. They utilize safe, non-toxic disinfecting supplies, Dyson HEPA vacuums, and planet-friendly mops.
Guests will have access to the world-renowned private Jack Nicklaus golf course ranked as a top course in Delaware, and located right outside our back door. This home’s location also has direct access to the nature trails, fishing pier, private beach, Lakeside Village Center featuring tennis/pickleball courts, wave pool, spa, outdoor adult pool, terrace grill, Olympic-sized indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, beautiful gym and yoga studio, lighted basketball courts, and large kids game room and nature center. There are also water sports on the bay through paddle-board and kayak rentals.
We truly believe its the little things that matter the most, making rentals comfortable, fun and memorable, so we’ve gone the extra mile. As mentioned, on the cleanliness side we’ve contracted with the best of the best. On the comfort side, we installed sleek and beautiful remote-controlled ceiling fans in all living areas, beach-contemporary chandeliers and pendants, as well as dimmers on nearly all light switches for better mood lighting. We’ve hung beautiful local artwork throughout, featuring beach scenes from renowned photographer Kevin Fleming. For family movie night in 2020 we excitedly unveiled a turn-style DVD rack containing 760 hand-picked DVDs of all genres, including many family & 80’s classics you just won’t find on Netflix. Building this collection was a serious undertaking but true labor of love. There are four rooms w/ DVD players including the garage. We also stocked up heavily on bikes, featuring 8 beach cruisers including one with a pre-installed Topeak baby carrier. By providing this many bikes we hope to save you significantly on rentals and we find that this is the best way to get around the community. Outside the garage you’ll also find a large bin filled with pool and beach toys for the kiddies. Finally, we’ve stocked the garage with an overflow full-sized refrigerator, lots of beach chairs, an umbrella, coolers, super-sized Jenga and even crab traps and a steamer pot!
Please note: Amenity fees (for use of the Peninsula resort pools, fitness, tennis, etc.) are not including in the quoted rental rates and are purchased directly from the Club upon arrival.
Note: During the in-season (May 28 – Sept 5th) the fitness and pools are closed to renters on Saturdays.
2022 amenity rates (excluding golf rounds) are as follows.

Daily: adult weekday $15 & Fri-Sun $25, child weekday $8 & Fri-Sun $10
Off-Season
Weekly: adult $51, child (6-15) $30
Daily: adult $10, child $5.
Tennis and Pickleball courts are by reservation at $10 (in season) and $5 (off season) for 90 to 120 minutes of play with reservation made up to 5 days in advance and up to 2 per day.
Please note: LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT INCLUDED. All beds have comforters and pillows, but guests bring their own linens, beach/bath/kitchen towels. Linen providers are available upon request.
Please note: Your rental includes only the first round of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels), as well as hand and dish soap. Guests are required to bring paper products and clothing detergent.
