Summary: My wife & I had a terrific one-month stay at this garden apartment, despite the fact that we were there during a Covid partial closure in San Francisco. The apartment was spotless, and we were assured it had been cleaned to Covid-standards & that no one entered the apartment within 3 days of our arrival. The two principal contacts were always available & responsive to our questions from the time we booked through our stay. The apartment is exactly as shown in the listing. The living room & bedroom are quite spacious & comfortably furnished & decorated. The bathroom is a small standard bath, but very clean with lots of storage for toiletries. The washer/dryer was essential for a 30-day stay. The kitchen has a table for 2, is well-stocked & has plenty of space. The apartment is much lighter than we expected for a garden apartment with full windows in every room and large glass double doors in the bedroom that faces a very attractive garden. The garden has outdoor lighting, seating for two, and a table for food, drinks or whatever. The location is outstanding, about 6 blocks from Fillmore Street with great shops & restaurants, all with outdoor booths or dining options. And only 2 blocks away are the best bakery in San Francisco (b patisserie), a great Japanese restaurant (Tataki), a wine bar that serves dinner (Scopo di Vino), a tea house, a Chinese restaurant, a very nice looking new restaurant. There's also a corner store 2 doors away with a wide selection of groceries, sweets, and salads. All of the restaurants offered take-out & delivery options. We are picky, and have stayed at some wonderful VRBO properties in Europe and other areas in the U.S. We highly recommend this apartment for 1 or 2 people.
