Welcome to The Ponderosa Cabin! We are so pleased to share our world with you. The Ponderosa is a 3000 sq. ft. log cabin, situated just north of Hauser Lake. Every morning relax on the deck and take in the beautiful view of the lake to the south, and the mountains to the north. Inside, the Ponderosa has all the amenities of home. All major appliances (including dish washer), granite counter tops, beautiful custom built cabinets, vanities and loft. The master has a king size bed, and en-suite. The second bedroom has a queen bed and lots of space to relax. A second bathroom with a large walk-in shower facilitates everyone in the group. Upstairs you'll find our "sleeping loft" with 2 sets of bunk beds, 2 extra beds, and a sofa bed, just in case. The loft is our kid area, with DVD's and a TV, books, and even a pinball machine to play. Feeding everyone is no problem with our beautiful, hand crafted table, which has space for 8, a custom breakfast bar near one of the two fireplaces, and another breakfast bar at the kitchen counter. Enjoy a glass of wine or coffee with family and friends in our cozy living room next to the fire. Inside the coffee table are a wide selection of board games for all ages. Pets are welcome, and a basket of toys awaits for your furry friends to enjoy. The Ponderosa Cabin sits on 10 secluded acres at the end of a gated road with plenty of space to park large vehicles. Hauser Lake, known for it's beautiful clean water and good fishing, is a 10 minute drive away. The public boat launch is just on the south end of the lake, and the Ponderosa has plenty of parking for your boat overnight. Hanging out at the cabin doesn't disappoint. Hummingbirds are daily visitors, wild turkeys, deer and fawn, the occasional elk, and osprey overhead keep us company. Come on up, sit back, and relax at the Ponderosa Cabin.
