Riverbend Whitetails is a 6000sq ft. lodge with adjacent guest quarters located atop a picturesque hillside overlooking the rolling bluffs and valleys of Western Kentucky. Situated on 6000acres of private property this lodge is perfect for those looking for a place to get away from it all. We also offer outdoor activities for all experience levels. We feature ponds, lakes, and rivers for fishing. We have miles and miles of trails for walking, running or biking. We have deer, turkey, fox, coyote, rabbits and hundreds of bird species for the birdwatchers! We also offer on-site clay shooting for a small additonal charge. We have corn hole bag games and other various board games available to our guests. Or, for those who simply want to enjoy the view our deck and lounge furniture offer the perfect place to read, rest, relax, and watch the sunset. Breakfast is included and prepared by our own chef! Each of our 8 guest rooms are beautifully decorated with two full beds and private bathroom. All towels and linens are provided. Each room is rented separately in a Bed and Breakfast style so please call to see if more rooms are available. We can also rent out the entire lodge and property. Please give us a call.There is so much to see and do right on property at Riverbend Whitetails! Whether you are wanting to just relax in one of the comfortable sitting areas in the lodge, spend the day exploring our 6000 acres of woods and water there is something for everyone! Summary: We went to Riverbend Whitetails not to bow hunt, but to watch the eclipse...and this was the perfect spot! Everything about our stay could not have been more perfect. The lodge sits on top of a beautiful hilly open spot, with "National Geographic special" views of herds of deer grazing. On a clear night, the stargazing was amazing. We saw many butterflies and birds. The forests were stunning and we couldn't have hiked all the trails in a weeklong stay. But Nick and Katrina's hospitality really sets Riverbend apart: from walking in on Katrina's blueberry muffins baking, to delectable, hearty brunches, to making us a delicious dinner for a nominal extra fee so we could not relax after the eclipse, to taking us to a spectacular (but unmarked) Ohio River vista overlook , to an ATV tour of the 6,000 acre forests and meadows, and cheerfully answering all our questions about stewarding the deer and forests. Wow! We enjoyed everything and recommend it highly! Thanks!
