Location, location, location - "The Cottage" is located one house from the sand with only a garden between you and the ocean, so you can hear waves when its quiet outside. There is a semi-private walkway to the boardwalk and beach just steps from the kitchen door. Perfectly situated between Newport Pier and Balboa Pier, this location is among the best on the peninsula, away from parking lots and crowds. "The Cottage" has the fantastic beach feel of not having to cross a street or even put your shoes on to go to the beach! We have several boogie boards and beach chairs and even a soft top surfboard for your enjoyment! Walk to the Balboa Pier, the Fun Zone, or bike to the world famous "Wedge" to watch the pro's on a big day. Rent bikes from one of the bike rental providers near Balboa or Newport Pier, and enjoy one of the best bike paths in the world. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and even a local market to pick up last minute items you may need. This cottage has 3 bedrooms (3 queen beds) , a queen sleeper sofa pull out bed, 1 full shower/tub combo bathroom and as an added bonus, an outside beach shower with hot and cold water for extra convenience.
