Kezar Lake is one of the most lovely in NH, with many old farmhouses and former inns studding its shores. A private dock and attractive nearby towns offer plenty to do. The house, designed by an award-winning architect, is situated to take maximum advantage of the views of nature and beautiful wildflower gardens. A screened-in porch, fire pit and barbecue offer opportunites to relax while taking in the wooded surroundings. A kayak and shallow access entry to the lake provide easy boating, fishing and swimming. Other boats may be rented from a nearby vendor. Locals know that Kezar Lake is one of the Sunapee area's best-kept secrets. They love to walk the three-mile loop around the lake, stop by picturesque Vernondale General Store, wander through Wadleigh State Park, and buy fresh produce at the non-profit Musterfield Farm.
