5 Bedroom House in Marcellus
Located 15 miles from PawPaw, Mi, this 4000 sq. ft. home was newly-built as our personal getaway haven, but sharing our beautiful home with you will help fund our children's Christian College tuition.
Just 2 1/2 hours from Chicago, this beautiful getaway vacation home has 80 ft of lake frontage on the 60 acre spring fed Hemlock Lake, that is one of the best fishing lakes around.
Although a smaller lake, if you have a small speedboat, you can do some tubing or skiing or just enjoy a trip around the lake on one of the provided kayaks or paddleboat. Don't forget your fishing tackle to catch some blue gill, sunfish or crappie.
With a sandy beach that extends 40 ft from shore to a gradual decline at the end of the dock, it is the PERFECT spot for young children to enjoy a swim or build sand castles.
The large yard has ample space for a game of bean bag toss or croquet or enjoy an afternoon nap in one of our comfortable hammocks.
A campfire (wood provided) will make for a great ending to your fun-filled days. This beautiful home is equipped with everything needed for a memorable family vacation.
This is not just a rental, it is a home away from home. Living nearby we are easily accessible if you need anything.
Don't forget the golf clubs for the nearby courses.
Note: Please take into consideration the size of the lake when considering bringing a speedboat. The lake best accommodates small speed boats, fishing boats and pontoons. Guest may only bring one motorized boat. No jetskis. The boat launch is quite shallow, so to launch a boat, a 4-wheel drive high clearance vehicle is recommended. Renters are responsible for launching and removing boats from the lake.
This rental is for family vacations, it is not a party house. We expect guests to treat house, furnishings and property with respect.
No smoking in the house.
Alcohol usage results in many boating accidents yearly so please drink responsibly. If neighbors complain of rowdiness due to drunkenness, you will also forfeit the remainder of your stay.
