This three bedroom, cottage style detached bungalow, with an immaculate interior, has everything you need for your self-catering holiday. The cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, with a lovely wood burning stove for those chilly nights and french doors that led out to a small patio (complete with patio furniture) with stunning views of the coast below. The front garden is private and enclosed with an eight hole putting green to keep the kiddies entertained. A bbq area is located at the side of the cottage. Accommodation comprises of three bedrooms – two double and one twin, a contemporary bathroom with walk in shower and a bright modern open plan lounge/living and dining room with a cosy wood burner (complementary basket of logs on arrival) to supplement the oil fired central heating system. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, toaster, iron, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, washing machine and tumbler dryer. Our Flatscreen TV complete with freeview in the living area comes with a DVD player and a selection of dvds along with an Nintendo Wii and a few games for those rainy afternoons! Iona cottage has private parking for 3 cars and is situated 5 mins drive to all amenities that Castlerock has to offer such as Golf club, restaurant, pubs, Downhill & Castlerock beach (where scenes of HBO's game of Thrones have been shot), local shop/post office, bakery, surf/beach shop, cafes, butcher, beauty parlour, chippy & Chinese restaurant. Exorna garage is located on the main road open from 7am to 11pm daily and stocks nearly everything you possibly need with loads of offers.
