The Henderson House is a beautiful 3,900 sf Victorian home located in the heart of Stockbridge, Massachusetts. This well equipped home was made for entertaining and soaking in all that the Berkshires has to offer. Amenities include 4 bedrooms, 3 and ½ baths (Sleeps 13!), high speed cable internet, Wi-Fi, 6 smart TVs, wet bar, large private screened-in patio, a fully fenced backyard, covered front porch with rocking chairs, mini-split wall unit air conditioners in every bedroom and in the main living areas, and 2 washers/2 dryers. One of the bedrooms has its own separate apartment with an additional living room, cable TV, and kitchen. This space is perfect for couples, young adults, and spill over guests! The home itself is set back from the road allowing guests privacy, yet it is only steps away from restaurants, shopping, coffee shop and bakery, and the famous Red Lion Inn. Also, close by is the town's kayak launch into the Housatonic River with 3 kayaks available for use upon request. Located only 15 minutes from Tanglewood, 10 minutes to Great Barrington, 15 minutes to Butternut Ski, and 35 mins to Jiminy Peak- This is the perfect year round rental! On the MAIN FLOOR you will find the well equipped eat-in kitchen with double ovens, electric cooktop, drip coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and large table to enjoy your meals. There is plenty of counter space and storage for the home chef to prepare and cook meals. Off of the kitchen, is the dining room with a table with adjustable leaves that comfortably seats 12 guests. (Extra chairs are available if needed). The formal living room with floor to ceiling windows is bright and inviting. It is the perfect place to sit with friends and family after a busy day of sightseeing, or grab a book off the shelf and relax on the sun-soaked chaise lounge. The family room is excellent for entertaining! It has large sofas for everyone to lounge and a smart tv with spectrum cable channels, as well as access to subscription channels like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime (bring your personal log-ins). There is a wood burning fireplace (wood included) in the family room and a game table and a wet bar. Also, located on the main floor is a half bath. UPSTAIRS you will find all 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and the bonus apartment suite. The master suite in the main house has a king size bed and en suite bathroom with a clawfoot tub/shower combo. Guest room 1 in the main house has a king size bed and guest room 2 has two bunk beds and a single size trundle. The bunk beds are both double size on the bottom and single size on the top, so they are comfortable for both kids and adults. Guest room 3 has a king size bed and is attached to its own private suite. This suite can be accessed through it's own private entrance in the back, or through the upstairs hallway of the main house, and has a full bath with a tub/shower combo, a living room with a large smart TV with Spectrum cable and a full kitchenette with a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven, pots, pans, dishes, and full size fridge. ALL of the bedrooms have their own smart flat screen tvs. These TVs do not have cable channels, but are equipped with Roku Tv which allows you to stream subscription channels channels like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc using your personal logins. Also upstairs in the main house, you will find a washer and dryer available for guests to use off of the hallway. In addition, there is a washer and dryer on the main floor behind the kitchen for guests to use at the house as well. OUTSIDE of the family room you will find a private screened-in stone patio with wicker seating. There is a fully fenced backyard for you to enjoy outdoor games like Bean Bag Toss which is available for guests in the shed. Our favorite outdoor space is the front porch with rocking chairs. It is the perfect place to sit down with a coffee in the morning, or a cocktail at night, and watch the world go by. AMAZING LOCATION: Located on Main Street in Stockbridge, MA you are just steps from shopping, restaurants, and the well maintained town park with four tennis courts, a basketball court, large playground, and baseball field. Love to hike? You can easily access all three of the Laurel Hill Association's hiking trails that are only a short walk away. A trail guide will be available in our welcome book. The town canoe/kayak launch is close by on Park Street with 3 kayaks available for guests to use upon request. SPECIAL NOTE: The Henderson House is a multi-family home. There is a 2 bedroom apartment called the Hawthorne Suite with its own private entrance in the back of this main house. Both have their own private entrances and private screened-in areas to enjoy in the summer. Please inquire about renting the entire property!
