Kuleana Resort is situated right on the ocean and has beautiful lush, tropical foliage and pristine landscaping. While you are here you can explore the amazing sea life in the private snorkel area, play tennis on our regulation tennis courts, or relax beachside or poolside and soak up the Maui sun.
We have perfect views for whale-watching (during the season). There is an on-site snorkeling ladder which provides easy access to the warm crystal-clear ocean. The property also has a beautiful private sandy beach. In addition, the famous beaches and golf courses of Kaanapali, Kapalua and Napili are nearby.

Summary: Grounds were quiet and beautiful, and only a few minutes away from amazing Kaanapali and Napili beaches. The property has an amazing view - we saw lots of turtles relaxing on the shore and whales in the distance. Also loved that parking was free since that's hard to come by at most accommodations on the island. The unit itself is pretty dated, but it's really not an issue if you, like us, aren't planning on spending much time in the room.The only con we have is the pull-out couch. The listing says it can sleep four, but really it's only three - if that. We thankfully only needed to sleep one other person which is good because the pull-out would not have been able to support two. After the second night, our party on the couch opted to sleep on it not pulled-out since it was far more comfortable that way. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! If we go back just the two of us, we would definitely revisit this listing!
