Relax, enjoy and make beautiful memories at Lake Wallenpaupack. Enjoy the water sports, boating, the beach (1 mile away). The community pool, tennis courts, gym and playground for the kids (1/4 mile away). Plus the community Catch and Release pond. Wrist bands required (supplied by us) for free community facilities from May to September.
For the rest of the year, the excitement continues for Thanksgiving plans and at the Montage Ski Resort & Camelback Mountain (46 minutes) where you can ski or snowboard and enjoy an indoor water park for the kids. Try your luck at Casino Poconos only 39 minutes away.
Amenities include Wifi, 65 inch SmartTV, fireplace with remote, screened in porch, shopping at the mall in Scranton, PA. Several local fine dining and family restaurants and brewery choices available.

Summary: We stayed for a long summer weekend. We loved the spacious screened in porch for playing games and having peaceful morning coffee. Comfortable family room to watch TV. The A/C unit in the loft kept the house cool with the exception of the first floor bedroom where my husband and I slept. Too warm there. Good amentities and location. It was nice that towels and linens were provided! The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. The only thing was the cleanliness. The first floor shower had hair in the drain and the back of the toilet had dust and hair. Looks like it had not been recently cleaned or wiped down. There was also a tank top under the family room sofa. A more thorough cleaning between renters could easily solve this. We would consider renting here again.
