Summary: This house was great! My husband and I brought my college son and 6 of his friends for spring break to stay here. The house was large and clean. Claudia was ABSOLUTELY amazing and communicated with us immediately if we ever needed anything. We used her to help us with transportation needs, to rent a boat and book our covid lab tests. She was FABULOUS. Also, Luty the daily cleaner was great. She came each day to clean, and we barely even noticed she was there, and she helped with anything we needed around the house. I read all the reviews (if not many on this sight look at the other popular renting sight for this home). I was concerned because there were one or two negative reviews. We have high standards. The house was super clean, but it is NOT a brand-new home if that is what you expect. There are some items that could use updating or replacing to make it Perfect. The nitty gritty: The little cold soak pool in the master bathroom does not work, older master headboard, the hot tub in the pool has jets but does not heat up, and the appliances were clean and worked fine, but were on the tired side. There is no dishwasher, but Luty helped with the dishes if we didn’t do them. I’m just trying to give a real accurate description as to explain the potential for improvement, but the house was great. The house has TONS of room and is spacious, great outdoor seating and eating area which is where we ended up eating all our meals. We could go to bed at night and we could not even hear the boys because of the large size of the home. I was concerned w the seaweed on this side, as the other side of the hotel zone has a little less because Isla Mujeres is not blocking the waves, but his ended up being the better location. Right in front of the house has the clear water which was very calm. Very few people were on the beach and nobody in front of the home, it was like having our own private beach! We enjoyed being able to easily walk back and forth between the pool and ocean. We rented a car and loved that we could park inside the garage and that it was a gated community. We expected the boys to use the bus to get to the main hotel zone bars, but they ended up walking, about a 15 min walk which they thought was fine. I would definitely rent here again.
