Welcome to the newest luxury vacation rental on beautiful Morton Street Extension in Grassy Key! Morton Street Properties, LLC presents its third luxury property on Morton Street, "Ma Belle Amie"...a beautiful, expansive retreat reminiscent of an aged European seaside manor with modern amenities second to none.
Ma Belle Amie will WOW even the most discerning traveler with its allure, captivating beauty and serenity. It is everything you have come to expect from Morton Street Properties. You will marvel at its custom, resort style pool with its own island (complete with tiki torches, palm trees, foilage and loungers), stream, swim up bar, sunken spa and beach style entry. A whopping 65 ft. x 35 ft this pool is fun for EVERYONE!
The massive and expansive upper and lower pool decks offer an elaborate outdoor living area furnished with top notch Frontgate furniture, a bar and Weber bbq. The covered walkways, poolside patios and raised sand beach showcase many more comfortable, relaxing options from cuddle chairs to comfortable loungers to outdoor dining locations and a BEAUTIFUL Frontgate daybed beach side (curtains are removed for November through April). You will enjoy the sun bathing or afternoon nap by day and the gas ground fire pit with stargazing at night. Honeymooners delight!!!
The light of tiki torches romances the entire waterside landscape. The landscaping is professional and mature creating privacy screens on both lot lines and showing off beautiful planters and scapes created throughout the entire property. Many of the plants include rare palms, flowering and fragrant trees and bushes including midnight blooming jasmine, frangipani trees and ginger. It will be easy to enjoy the property day or night with the SWAT mosquito system the property has to offer. 98% of mosquitos and no-see-ums are eliminated!
And your accommodations upstairs? Upon arrival and entering the foyer, you will immediately feel the European atmosphere for the theme of this house. Ascend the staircase to the main living level where you are met with the utmost in luxury. You are immediately taken back by the stunning and sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico as you enter the open concept living, dining room and kitchen. The views mesmerize from nearly every room of this house and go on forever! Crystal chandeliers adorn just about every room (and that goes for outdoors, too).
The kitchen is the aspiring culinary artist's delight with brand name appliances such as Electrolux and Bosch. It is spacious with ample storage for groceries and personal items. It is well equipped with just about everything you can think of including brand name cookware and Lenox china. The breakfast dinette is beautiful and cozy for a morning cup of coffee or a brief rest while cooking. The kitchen is adjoined by the laundry room on one side with commercial Maytag washer and dryer and the stunning dining area on the other side.
The dining area is spacious with multiple sliding glass doors overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and upper screened in lanai. The beautiful Pottery Barn table seats 8 and is adorned with the most elaborate crystal chandelier containing 540 glass droplets. With the sea view as its back drop, you will find it hard to move on from this area.
The adjoined living room has more sliding glass doors leading out to the lanai and has the most comfortable sofa and glider by Four Seasons for relaxing. The 55" television is there if you feel like watching something other than the water. There is also a street side lanai accessed by the french doors on the opposite side of the living room. You will find chairs and tables for enjoying the gardens and plant life from this perch. Simply the best of both worlds!
The louvered pocket door on the west end of the living room is the entrance to the Key Largo master suite wing. This master boasts a sitting area with custom day bed w/trundle and wardrobe. The area also doubles as a fourth bedroom for up to two children age 10 and under only . As you pass through this cozy sitting area perfect for a reading nook on an inclement weather kind of day you will find that the wing has a luxurious custom bath with an enormous shower for two, double vanities and upscale Kohler products. And at the end of the wing is your treasure...the most serene, gorgeous quarters for two with king size bed, 55" television among the furnishings, sliding patio doors leading to the screened in lanai and an entire wall banked with glass showing off amazing, sweeping water views and overlooking the sand beach, pool and gardens. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!
The second and third master suites are accessed from the screened in lanai. There is no inside passage making these suites the ultimate in luxury and privacy! Both suites have french doors opening onto the lanai, custom ensuite with Kohler products, oversized shower and closet with shelving and clothing storage, 55" television, Keurig coffee maker with starter supply of Kcups, mini fridge/freezer combo and console with games and reading materials. Key West is the end suite and has a king size bed, wall desk for checking email and custom sea glass pendant by Kathy Kuo. But here too, the show stopper is the bank of glass windows providing forever and ever views of the Gulf of Mexico. The bed floats in the middle of the suite and faces the Gulf....an amazing view to wake up to each day! The corner suite is named Sea Jewel and holds its own with its peek a boo views of the Gulf, pool and palms. Sea Jewel has two full size beds and custom Italian armoire for more storage. Sea Jewel sleeps up to 4 people and is great for teens or the older child.
Maximum total occupancy is 6.
All three master suites, living room, and dining room open up onto the screened in lanai. The lanai has several relaxing spots including a grouping of four Frontgate swivel loungers, gas fire pit and outdoor 55" television. The lanai also has a staircase descending to the pool deck and outdoor living areas. The mattresses in all three suites are luxury Beautyrest Black resort style mattresses and are dressed in Pottery Barn bedding with a choice of pillows. Pretty hard to leave these beds.
Ma Belle Amie has a boat basin for boat dockage. Please note the boat lift has been removed and is not available for guest use. This is the only dockage and will accommodate one boat plus a couple of jet skis. Be advised that we do not recommend a boat larger than 26 ft. The basin is 15 ft. deep; however, the entry to the basin is shallow at low tide and coupled with the possibility of sea grass in the winter can be problematic to navigate at those times. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BOAT ISSUES OR RENTAL BOAT SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL IT. Ask your boating questions BEFORE booking should you have any.
The home comes with a State Parks card for guests' use while in the home. Each card allows free access for all in one vehicle into the Florida State Parks opening up endless opportunities for additional snorkeling, beach combing and sightseeing activities. Guests also have use of pool/shower robes. As with all of our homes you will find oils, spices and other community kitchen items. We supply toilet tissue, paper towels, dish soap, shower and bath amenities, laundry detergent and fabric softener.
Ma Belle Amie is perfect for honeymooners, families, friends get away, etc.

NOTE: Off Season pricing is due to just that....off season. It can mean a number of things, season slow down, more chance for inclement weather (heat, rain, cold, humidity, sea grass with north winds, etc.) These are conditions that are not within my control. Also, the mosquito system minimizes the no see ums but it does not totally get rid of them. Only my homes offer this amenity. I can assure you that the bugs are much worse on those properties without the system.
NOTE: The pool will only heat 10 degrees above ambient temperature which means if the wind is coming in and the temps have dipped into the 50's or 60's during the winter, the pool will not be able to maintain 90 degrees. That is the way it is with all the pools.
