3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps up to 10 Get the "Up North" feel without the "Up North" drive. Located just 13 miles west of Hinckley, MN (home of Grand Casino), Pomroy Lake is only an hour away from the northern Twin Cities suburbs. Your family and/or friends will thoroughly enjoy spending time on Pomroy lake where it is not uncommon to have the entire lake to yourself. Spend time swimming, kayaking or fishing among the loons and eagles that make the lake their home. Two kayaks are provided along with a variety of inflatables. There is also a dock with a slip available for your boat. Alternatively a 24' pontoon boat can be rented for $150 per day. Your group will enjoy spending outdoor time on this park-like lake lot where you can bask in the sun, lounge under an umbrella on the patio or spend time playing yard games like bean bags, volleyball, badminton, frisbee, and bocce ball. Evenings can be spent under the stars roasting marshmallows around the awesome fire pit or playing one of the many board games that are provided. There is a ping pong table and a foosball table in the garage for additional entertainment. The cabin features a spacious an open floor plan highlighted by a huge fireplace and log staircase. The two living areas feature large screen TVs and comfy sofas. There is also plenty of room to hang out in the oversized 4-car garage. The master bedroom has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 also has a queen bed along with two twin beds. The third bedroom has a full-size bed and a twin bed. Inflatable mattresses are provided if additional beds are needed. The cabin sleeps a maximum of 10. The main bathroom has a shower along with a washer and dryer but if you really want to get back to nature you'll love using the outdoor shower. There is a 4-night minimum during peak season (May-Labor day) and 5 night minimum over Memorial Day and 4th of July weekends. We apologize, no pets or smoking in the cabin, no exceptions.
