Our warm and inviting beach cottage has been recently remodeled and newly furnished with a comfortable yet stylish feel. From the breezy mermaid weathervane welcoming you in, to the spacious great room upstairs, every detail is designed for comfort and relaxation. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, a beautiful 75" flatscreen TV with sound bar, large open floorpan with gourmet kitchen and oversized rustic wood dining table that seats up to 10- everything you need for a vacation by the sea. Enjoy the oceanview while cooking on the Viking range, or enjoy a glass of wine in the backyard by the cozy gas fire pit. The backyard is perfect for entertaining or having family dinners with it's large patio table for 8, new large gas BBQ, bench seating around the fire pit and charming cafe lights suspended above. There's a large grassy area for bocce ball, croquet or throwing a football. 2 bikes are available, as well as a beach wagon, boogie boards, beach chairs and plenty of beach towels for everyone. On the front patio, enjoy a cup of morning coffee in our adirondack chairs, or sip a glass of wine while watching the evening sunset. Whether dining indoors or out, you will find everything needed for your meal, as well as a fully stocked kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms, each with large closets, comfortable mattresses, down comforters and plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 2 of the other bedrooms have queen sized beds, and the fourth bedroom has a bunk with a single on top, full on the bottom and additional single trundle bed pull out. There are 3 full bathrooms, one attached to the master. The gourmet kitchen includes a Viking stove, dishwasher, double oven, and granite countertops with barstools for extra seating. All appliances are stainless steel and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware and all cookware needed to create your meals if so desired. Only a few short blocks to the beach or a five minute drive to quaint downtown San Clemente, there are plenty of options available for fun or relaxation. For art and music there's South Coast Repertoire theater, Laguna Pageant of the Masters and Art Festival, historical museums and missions San Juan Capistrano and San Luis Rey, and concerts under the stars at Irvine Meadows. For family entertainment there's Disneyland, Legoland, Seaworld, the San Diego Zoo, Horse racing at Del Mar and dolphin and whale watching out of nearby Dana Point or Newport Beach. For outdoor enthusiasts, there's golfing, surfing, swimming, kayaking, diving, snorkeling, tennis, hiking and biking at nearby San Clemente and San Onofre State Parks. For sports, there's Angels baseball or Ducks hockey in Anaheim. Or, there's always just relaxing on the beach!
