This beautiful, clean and cozy wood paneled cottage is the perfect getaway for your friends and family! Even though this house is 23 miles from Ann Arbor and 60 miles from Detroit, you'll feel like you're in the woods of northern Michigan. Located on the shores of beautiful, private, spring-fed Sweezy Lake, this cottage has all the comforts of home. Built in the 1950s, this home has been extensively updated through the years but retains its original charm. The first floor features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a deck overlooking the lake and next door State game area. The lower level has a walkout door from the master bedroom, guest bedroom, laundry and a bathroom with tub. Cook for your guests on the vintage gas stove, sip hot coffee from the Keurig coffee maker, or grill out on the back deck. Cook in the house and dine in the screen shelter on the peninsula below the home. Relax with movies and streaming TV shows on the Roku enabled flatscreen television, or stream to your own devices using the wireless cable internet. Maybe you'd rather unplug and play board games and Trivial Pursuit. The home has a washer and dryer and a tankless hot water heater, so you and your clothes will stay clean for however long you're here. Work up a sweat paddling our kayaks on the lake or hiking on the nearby trails, or spend the day sledding from the house down to the lake. Warm up next to the gas fireplace in the winter, or gather around the outdoor firepit for s'mores. Stay cool in the summer with the shady tree cover and air conditioners.
