Summary: The house is surprisingly deceiving from the outside. I was well aware of the significance of this post-confederation historical property, but I did not expect it to be as large (VERY roomy for 3 friends), or as tastefully decorated. Every room was given a lot of thought - including wall art. There wasn't a single thing we disliked about the house - all the beds had very comfortable mattresses, plenty of towels for the modern bathrooms, kitchen was far better equipped than most VRBO's or Air b'n'b's. Lots of dishes so you didn't have to constantly run the dishwasher. Both sitting areas were comfortable and all rooms were provided with plenty of lighting options and temperature controls. It's as if the owners made a list of all the things they wished they had when they were travelling. A lot of careful thought went into renovating this property. It was excellent value for the money, and the owners were responsive and friendly. Thank you - staying in a nice place makes all the difference! Many restaurants and grocery stores in the area. Large parking lot in the back. Highly recommended!!!
