This beautiful Penthouse unit in the Prima Donna building with extra-high tray ceilings is on the top (5th) floor and has a huge covered balcony with high vaulted ceiling and stunning views of Grace Bay and the pool and landscaped grounds. There are two large bedrooms suites, each with a queen-sized bed fitted with luxury linens, flat-screen TV, and a beautiful, big, modern bath with soaking tub, separate large, glass-enclosed shower, and double vanity. The bedrooms also each have their own safes, access to the balcony through room-width sliding-glass doors, and large closets. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area with extra high tray ceilings and crown moldings has a dining table, queen pull-out sofa, two chairs, flat screen TV, and access to the balcony. The fully-equipped kitchen has granite countertops, breakfast bar with stools, stainless steel refrigerator, full oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, and includes small appliances, dishes, silverware, all types of cooking utensils & gadgets, glassware and wine glasses, Other conveniences include a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. There is also a large half-bath. The large, private balcony with newly refurbished teak furniture is perfect to enjoy breakfast, cocktails, or dinner and includes three lounge chairs & ottomans, and a large dining table with 6 chairs. The unit is stocked with nice beach towels. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE RESTRICTIONS PLACED ON VRBO/HOME AWAY GUESTS and NON-RESORT GUESTS: I purchased this beautiful condo to use 4-6 weeks a year, but (like about 20% of the other owners here) decided NOT to use the rental management services of the Alexandra Resort, primarily because of the restrictions and high costs that the rental management contract would have imposed on me and the fact that I didn’t need or want the all-inclusive package or daily cleanings. I wanted a large, relaxed, comfortable unit with a great view on Grace Bay Beach in order to enjoy the beach and stunning waters of this beautiful island. Because the Resort has restricted the use of certain of the Alexandra’s facilities (see below), those unit owners who have chosen not to be part of the resort rental program have joined forces and formed the TCI VIP Club, in order to provide all of our guests (and ourselves) with superior amenities on the beach. We have our own section of loungers, umbrellas, and tables and you will NEVER find that all the lounge chairs are taken. We have a dedicated Beach Butler who can provide you with water, order and deliver drinks and food, and set you up with the Club’s kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The TCI VIP Club beach section is right on the beach in front of the resort, and right next to the resort’s own beach chair section. As a VRBO guest, the things you CAN’T use at the Alexandra are: the chairs by the pool (although you are absolutely free to use the pool), the resort’s beach chairs (but we have our own at the VIP Club), the resort’s beach towels (but the unit is stocked with nice beach towels), the resort’s water sports equipment (but we have kayaks and paddle boards at the VIP club), or the resort’s barbecue. Also, since the resort transitioned to a 100% all-inclusive format, nobody outside the all-inclusive program can get anything from the on-site bar or restaurants, even if you want to pay by cash or credit card. You can dine or drink at the Palms resort right next door (2 minute walk on the beach). In addition, while at the beach, our beach butters can provide menus and grab food and drinks for you (turnaround time is 10-25 minutes). You CAN, however, absolutely use the resort’s fitness center and tennis courts. (Note: This unit type rents for $1,400/night in the high season through the Alexandra Resort’s all-inclusive program for 2 people, and almost $1,800/night for 4 adults. You’ll have to decide if you want to save significant $$$ and have the ability to dine anywhere on the island, where there are so many fantastic restaurants to choose from.) ADDITIONAL CHARGES: 1) The Turks & Caicos Islands imposes a 12% hospitality fee on hotel bookings. This will be added to your rate. 2). A one-time cleaning fee of $80 will be added to your rate. For stays over 7 days, we require an addition cleaning every week.
