"Bearly Bama" is an exceptionally cozy and charming cabin which sits on 7.53 acres on the brow of Lookout Mountain 6 miles north of downtown Mentone. Perfect for a weekend retreat, work / relaxation visit or a longer stay All the comforts of home, with the seclusion and serenity of having a vacation rental cabin north of downtown Mentone and within 5 miles of the state of Georgia border.
Imagine yourself sitting in the homes great room, to enjoy a romantic evening with a huge stone fireplace to enjoy a roaring fire during the later parts of fall through early spring OR sitting on the home's ~300 sq.ft. screened in back porch which faces the edge of Lookout mountain having a cup of coffee in the morning, listening to the birds and the tranquil sound of the spring fed creek on the property slowly trickling water onto the rocks down the side of lookout mountain.
All the privacy and seclusion you could want, set in a tranquil, private and secluded setting, yet located within 6 miles of downtown Mentone and all the great eateries, state parks and events to do and see in and around the city of Mentone.
The home offers a 2 1/2 story Great Room with a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths along with a loft area overlooking the Great Room which has a daybed and a place for the kids or the family to enjoy and read books or plays games.
Tree filled lot adds for a maximum sense of privacy. Exceptionally comfortable and cozy place to rent and getaway for the weekend for couples, retreats, families, get togethers or just a chance to get some R&R away from the everyday stresses of life.
