A spacious Georgian family house with beach and sea views, located in the heart of this fabulous and much-loved seaside village, close to all amenities and just a few steps from a three mile stretch of golden sands. Lower Ground Floor There is a laundry room with washing/dryer. Ground Floor On the ground floor is a spacious dining hall, sitting room with angled bay window with lovely sea views and wood burning stove, flat screen TV and DVD player, fitted galley kitchen with dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave, utility room and ground floor cloaks/WC. First Floor On the first floor are two double bedrooms (one with sea views), bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Second Floor There are two twin bedrooms (one with sea views), shower room with toilet. All bedrooms have fitted wash hand basins. Amenities: Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Fridge/Freezer Wood burning stove, TV/DVD Town: Lying on Yorkshire's spectacular Heritage Coastline, Sandsend is the ideal place for a family holiday with its award winning, wide sweeping beaches, rock pools and dramatic cliffs. Indeed this part of the coastline is known locally as the Dinosaur Coast because of the many fossils found here. In the season, beachside stalls offer everything from light snacks and drinks to boats, buckets and spades! Children will enjoy damming the little beck where it crosses the beach to form a freshwater lagoon - great (and safe) for paddling and boating! For the more energetic the village sits on the lovely long distance Cleveland Way Trail, which offers great off-road cycling along the disused coastal railway as well as breathtaking clifftop walks. The National Trust now own the nearby headland, Sandsend Ness, where there is a delightful nature trail in the old quarry pits. A special place with something for everyone!
