Summary: This is a fabulous property located right in the heart of the Hotel Zone within easy walking distance of a grocery store and several excellent restaurants. The property is well kept and obvious efforts are being made to make it even nicer, such as the addition of beautiful floors and cabinets. Three notes regarding unexpected issues: 1) the listing says the room has a deadbolt lock, but it does not; 2) the security deposit is only accepted in cash ($100 American dollars at the time of our stay) and 3) this property is located very close to the Coco Bongo Beach Party/night club. Coco Bongo is EXTREMELY LOUD from about noon until 3 a.m. each day. So bring ear plugs for when you want to sleep (or just don’t want to hear the party music). Also, the staff at Salvia were very welcoming and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay amazing and deserve much recognition for their efforts!
