Walk down short sandy backyard path to your private beach on Long Island Sound. 🏖️ (We rent directly through this site to friends of friends for much cheaper rates than Airbnb)

Tucked away on a secluded stretch just before Long Island’s North Fork, this light filled home is a serene escape.
Enjoy relaxing plus local walks, eateries and wineries. Minutes drive from La Plage - voted most romantic restaurant by the New York Times.
☀️SUMMER - Enjoy the sun & Laze by the pool on the sun lounges or walk the few steps down the path from the backyard to your private beach! Pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Pool is not heated but is not super deep meaning it's plenty warm enough for us and our one year old baby to swim May through September
🍁FALL - Visit the dozens of local farm stands, pumpkin picking, boutique breweries and local wineries. Check out the local hedge maze (great for kids & adults!)
⛄️WINTER - Cozy up by the fire with a book, a movie in the movie room or cook a meal with friends in the enormous kitchen. Take advantage of amazing local cross country skiing. Go iceskating at the Port Jefferson rink 20 minutes away. Explore the local vintage stores.
🌻SPRING - Beach swims and walks or Take a trail bike ride around the local paths, enjoy the produce at local farm stands and vineyards.
🌊 YEAR ROUND: Beach walks, bike ride trails, BMX riding, horse riding, Traill bike riding, hiking in the local national parks. Our local cheese shop is a MUST visit!

This is a great relaxing house. Come and enjoy the pool, beach and living and kitchen and don't move for a week. Or enjoy the local wineries, farm stands, vintage shopping.
Walk to the deck to relax and swim in the pool and down the path to our private beach.
The local shops are a less than 5 minute drive with a great pizza place and an awesome bar/restaurant . Ten minutes drive is a stop and shop, farm stands, cute cafes, seafood stores etc
We are 30 minutes to Hampton Bays and 30 minutes to a waterpark for the kids. We also love Windy Acre Farm for berry picking & playgrounds for children plus the carousel at the local shops.
Plenty of parking in our driveway. If you will have more than 2 vehicles please advise us in advance
BEDROOM BREAKDOWN:
Master Ocean View Suite: King bed + ensuite
Main Beach bedroom: Queen bed + ensuite
Beachfront Queen: Queen bed
Garden + Water View: Twin bed + baby crib (additional portacot available too on request)
Light Filled Oasis: Queen bed + Twin + desk + half bath
Downstairs (Please note - bookings for groups of 10 or less do not have access to this room) Queen bed + 2 x twin + bathroom.
Please note the number of people on the booking must match the number who attend the property. Extra people are only allowed with explicit approval.
For week long + Bookings of, we require to have our housekeeper come every week at a cost of $250 for a clean. (Requested via the platform) Linens can be laundered at an additional cost, otherwise are processed by the house keeper every other clean during your longer term stay.

Amazing beach town area.
30 minutes to the Hamptons and the North Fork.
60 minute drive from JFK airport, 90 minutes from NYC city.
Everything is nearby. You can walk 30 minutes to the shops (or a 4 minute drive) and of course you are about 20 steps to your private beach.
A car is handy in this area, but not necessary.
10-13 minute uber from the train station that takes you to NYC. (90-120 minute travel time)
Down the road is an amazing cafe with sxcellent smoothies and coffee. You'll also find the best seafood shop in town! There's a candy store, a bagel store, a great wine bar, supermarket...there's even a Walmart a 10 minute drive away if you need it.
Please note - This is not a party house, not appropriate for events or parties. This is a quiet neighbourhood and it's important to us our guests respect that.
Heads up - the local police officer is our neighbour so any noise is immediately shut down.

A car makes things easier with groceries, wine store etc but you can definitely get a train and then uber to our house and just walk places if you need to
