This magnificent coastline is situated just 5 minutes from Tutukaka - named the 2nd best coastline in the world – with diving and scuba options just offshore at the world renowned Poor Knights .
Enjoy uninterrupted sea views, over the bay towards Whangarei Heads, where dolphins and schools of fish are regularly spotted. Laze on the outdoor decks with a book, try our puzzles and games, or catch dinner from the estuary headland nearby. Enjoy meals or a BBQ on our elevated patio table overlooking the sandy beach below and then relax in front of a warm fire as the evening envelopes you.
Launch your boat at the opposite end of the beach if you are after some fish out in the bay, or enjoy a scenic walk around the coastline via bush tracks and walkways to Saltair cafe at Ngunguru or Oceans at Tutukaka.
Try paddling up the sandy Ngunguru estuary in our ride on kayak, or fishing off the estuary rocks, both just one minute along the beach.
