Welcome to Beachbreak #5, located in a beautiful complex in the heart of Imperial Beach on SeaCoast Drive. This unit has forever views of the ocean and pier and offers affordable beach luxury with upscale furnishings not found at the typical beach rental. This complex has many permanent renters and should not be considered a party house. Imperial Beach is a hidden gem and a throwback to a simpler, southern California lifestyle with miles of uncrowded, white sand beaches, magnificent views of the Coronado Islands and the downtown San Diego skyline. Imperial Beach (IB) is laid back, unpretentious, and is undergoing a wonderful renaissance while still retaining its small town charm! You’ll find everything you need within a short walk along seacoast drive –great restaurants , beachfront parks with picnic tables, a weekly farmer’s market on Friday afternoons, beach volleyball nets, waffle-cone ice cream, and retail shops. Hop in the car and horseback riding is located close by with beach rides available. There is even a drive in theater in IB; great for families or couples! Take a walk on the pier which extends over 1200 feet and see surfers beneath you and dolphins at play. Imperial Beach Pier is also a great spot to try your luck fishing; no license required! Just south of Imperial Beach, you’ll find a bird watcher’s paradise at the famous Tijuana Estuary which has a wonderful visitors center providing some of the best bird watching you’ll find in Southern California. This estuary is home to over 300 species of birds, and we have a pair of binoculars for avid bird watchers. Imperial Beach is the most southern beach town in California and hosts events throughout the year, but is best known for the Annual Sandcastle Competition (mid-July) and the Surf Town Triathlon (held late-August). Although you may feel a hundred miles away from the city, the area’s top attractions are just a short drive away: 8 miles: Coronado Island and the world famous Hotel del Coronado 15 miles: downtown San Diego (including the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, East Village, The Embarcadero (USS Midway Aircraft Carrier, Harbor Cruises, Maritime Museum and Seaport village), Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo 30 minutes to San Diego International Airport 20 miles / 25 minutes to SeaWorld Spend the day on the beach relaxing, flying kites or building sandcastles, or walking along the pier with an ice cream cone. We have boogie boards, shade umbrellas, beach toys, and flip flops on hand. End your perfect day watching the sun set over the Pacific from your private ocean view balcony with a glass of wine and your friends or family at your side. Beachbreak #5 sleeps 8-9 easily. The master has spectacular ocean views with a king bed and a twin bed with a trundle. The second master bedroom is furnished with two queen beds. The third bedroom is downstairs, is wheelchair accessible, and has a king bed.… Each bedroom has its own full bathroom with a total of three full baths. There is a fully outfitted kitchen, but with so many affordable restaurants within walking distance, you may choose to eat out instead. Try Babycakes Coffee House which is just across the street, on the beach dining available at the Cohn family restaurant Sea 180. Serving more casual food are The Coronado Brewing Company, El Tapatio on Palm, IB Street tacos, or Aroma Thai. Or, just step downstairs for dinner or drinks at The Brigantine oyster bar located in our building! Parking is in a secured garage beneath the complex and there are two dedicated parking spaces for our guests. Whether you are seeking a peaceful retreat, a romantic getaway, or simply want to experience a beach vacation with your family, you will find what you are looking for at Beachbreak #5, a better alternative and better deal than multiple hotel rooms.
