This Villa is a beach front walk up with a spectacular Ocean View from all rooms. It is very nicely furnished. The master bedroom has a King size bed, there is a small room with a futon and the living room has 2 futons. The bathroom has a built in sauna. The villa comes with 2 flat-screen TV's, free Wi-Fi, washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen.
Ideal for a couple alone or with 2 small children.
Just a moment's walk down the beach is the Wyndham Hotel and Casino where you can enjoy wine tastings, fine dining and gambling. Further down the beach is the Marina where several restaurants known as 'The French Connection' are located. The Palmanova Plaza also features dozens of dining options and specialty cuisine.
Palmas del Mar is a beach resort located approximately 45 minutes from San Juan in a town called Humacao in the southeast coast of Puerto Rico. It is the largest master-planned community in the Caribbean. Set in approximately 2,750 acres of land, the resort includes over 25 different neighborhoods; a bank; retail shops; a private school; a beautiful equestrian center with guided tours throughout various tracks including the beach; 16 restaurants throughout the resort; a casino; a full service marina; and security and strict-access control 24 hours a day. There is also a small grocery store inside the resort. It is a high end community where you will find not just miles of pristine beaches along the coastline of the resort but all sorts of amenities sufficient to not want to leave the resort at any time during your stay in Puerto Rico.

Summary: My adult daughter and I enjoyed a very relaxing week in this beachfront unit with wonderful views of the ocean from the 2nd floor balcony, living room and bedroom. The proximity of the unit to the beach as well as the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and beach towels that were provided made it very easy and convenient to enjoy our time on the beach. We were usually the only people on the beach, which was great if you're looking for peace and privacy. It's worth noting that the ocean in front of the unit is quite rough during the winter months, so it was not relaxing to spend time in the ocean. For a relaxing, calm beach experience, we enjoyed visiting Seven Seas and Luquillo beaches, which were both very calm with beautiful, clear water (about 45 minutes from Palmas Del Mar). We also enjoyed the pool most days, which was never crowded and only a short walk away. In addition, the condo was very clean and had all of the supplies we needed to cook, plus spices, etc. The king sized bed and linens were very comfortable. The AC worked extremely well. We also appreciated having two TVs and a washer/dryer in the condo. The host, Nancy, was very responsive when we had questions and even delivered a fan to us during our stay. The only issue we had was the water temperature in the shower, which ranged from too hot at times to not hot enough. I believe this is because it is an on demand hot water tank, which takes some getting used to. Otherwise, we would highly recommend this unit.
