Summary: This was our first time visiting oak island and we will definitely be back. The images for this house are not what you walk into though. Makes and sting in walls, box springs and carpet. Zero garbage bags, paper towels or toilet paper upon arrival. The hot water was also not turned on upon our arrival, but easy enough to figure out. (All if this was found upon check in Sunday night, if we were not “handy” enough to figure out the water situation could have been more on an issue) Sliding doors and windows were also definitely not cleaned properly. Would definitely recommend a better cleaning company and and updated pictures so people are aware of what they are arriving to. Will definitely return to oak island but not to this house. I called to mention my concerns and the lady who answered the phone was lovely at oak island accommodations help desk, would have preferred a representative come out though however to go over concerns.
