Governors Beach features a substantial coral reef just 200 yards offshore, at a depth of 15 feet. Cemetery Beach offers smaller coral formations, also 200 yards out at a depth of 15 feet. Additionally, there is Smith Cove which offers beautiful coral formations just two feet under the water, easily accessible from the shore at 50 yards. Divers Supply is across the street from the property for snorkeling gear rentals.
Getting Around:
Getting around is easy! Local buses are available and will stop for you if you signal them from the side of the road, with most rides along West Bay Road costing around $2/person. Taxis are readily available for trips to specific destinations. If you're planning day trips or want to explore the island independently, renting a car is the best option.
