Positive: The house was absolutely lovely. Spacious with plenty of rooms for everyone to relax. Beautiful old furniture and books but very comfortable too. Superb location to stroll and admire the magnificent old homes in the (Old World) neighbourhood. I particularly loved the downstairs extra large kitchen that led out to a delightful long garden. Perfect for sitting outdoors and enjoying the green surrounds. It was such a worthwhile experience to be staying in a real Portugese home and we loved it!
Negative: The kitchen is a wonderful space and just perfect for sitting and eating and spending time in. I woud like to have had some kitchen cloths, and cleaning/washing products left for me. Maybe a welcome pack of some sort to get through the first day . I think it would make a difference. Maybe an extra bin or two upstairs and downstairs.
Summary: We were delighted with our week in Beach Golf and Garden House. We all recommend it.
