This year-round, fully equipped town home sleeps 8 and features fabulous views of the Delaware Bay from the entire first floor and second floor balcony. Follow the short sand footpath or boardwalk to the beach. Sip your morning coffee with your feet in the saltwater. Beach chairs and umbrellas are included for a relaxing day on the beach. Grab a stand-up paddle board (2 included) or kayak (one and two-person included) from under the house and head out on the bay. Don’t be surprised if you spot a pod of dolphins passing through. Lewes beach is great for children and adults alike. On a typical day, swimming in the bay is relaxing and without the stress of ocean waves and rip currents. The shallow waters and sand bars that emerge during low tide are full of wildlife, including sand crabs, hermit crabs, conchs, and fish, among others, and provide hours of entertainment. Take the kids on a 10 minute walk down the beach to Dairy Queen or head in the other direction and watch the arrival of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. Teenagers and adults enjoy a walk across the street to East of Maui Surf Shop for beach accessories and rentals. Take a short bike ride into Cape Henlopen State Park (about a mile away) to enjoy swimming in the ocean or fishing off the pier.
