Fazana on the other hand is known as a place with a long fishing tradition and the sardine, which is an unavoidable delicacy here! Less than half an hour's drive from Peroj, you can reach the largest city in Istria - Pula, with its symbol, the Roman amphitheater, which is the 6th largest in the world. Also a short drive from Peroj is one of the most photogenic towns in the Mediterranean - Rovinj. Visit the hinterland of Istria with its charming small hilltop towns such as Motovun, Buzet and Groznjan.
