This charming, comfortable, vintage, newly furnished 1-story 3-bedroom, 1-bath, 900 sq. ft. cottage with a studio 1-bath 500 sq. ft. casita is perfect for those who enjoy a laid back beach lifestyle. Here you are just a few blocks to beach access, steps from Dog Beach, and within walking distance to excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars.
Dining al fresco is easy here as there are 2 picnic tables, two barbecues, and an additional dining table in the backyard - each home has their own outside haven or they can be used together. A beautiful vintage tree between the cottage and casita creates a spectacular umbrella of shade all day. A private hot tub is ideal for evening soaks.
Open the gate of a white picket fence that encircles the property and notice a large front lawn that, on the left side, extends to a roomy side yard with a traditional picnic table and a barbecue. A charming front entrance invites you inside where you will find a light, bright living room with a large comfortable couch, two 2-chair seating clusters, and 1 window seat on either side of a fireplace wall with a large wall-mounted flat screen TV so there is plenty of room for catching up on your day’s adventures.
Beyond the living room is a dining area for 4 and a kitchen that has all the appliances and amenities you need to satisfy your culinary desires. Even with a touch of vintage style! Just add the food and camaraderie and have fun. There is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience next to the kitchen as well. From the hallway to the right is a queen bedroom with a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable. Just beyond this bedroom is a 2nd bedroom with twin bunk beds.
The 2nd queen bedroom is left down the hallway. Between them is a beautifully appointed shared bath with a shower/tub combination. This cottage sleeps 6 in beds. Each bedroom and the bath are furnished with a plentiful supply of premiere linens to ensure you are comfortable at all times. The back door of the cottage leads to a large grassy lawn next to a large, shaded deck for a comfortable outdoor space for both abodes.
Enter the separate charming casita and find a beautifully arranged great room with a comfortable seating area, a flat screen TV, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table for 2, a queen bed, and a bath with a large walk-in shower. Additional amenities include 2 off-street parking spaces (with ample street parking too!), WIFI, and cable. This beautifully maintained vintage complex is a perfect place to experience the legendary beach life and ambiance of Ocean Beach. And it is very likely you will create precious memories that will last a lifetime!
THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT THIS HOME!
These 2 abodes can be rented either separately or together - so there are many workable configurations - making it comfortable as 1 private larger space or 2 shared spaces - each with their separate outdoor space. It is very close to the beach, and has easy access to freeways, the airport, and lots of local shopping in Ocean Beach of Point Loma, not to mention the plentiful world-class attractions in the greater San Diego area.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:
-No smoking is allowed inside or outside the property - NO EXCEPTIONS!
-The cottage sleeps 6 in beds and the casita sleeps 2 in beds, for a maximum of 10 guests at any given time.
-This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.
-Please note: reservations for this home will not be refunded if cancelled within 60 days of arrival.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting 'Yes' to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog.
Parking notes: Two parking spaces are available in the alley, right behind the home. Street Parking is also available.
