This historic and totally updated cottage is located on a quiet street in South Nags Head and allows dogs! Beach Blanket Bingo offers a great ocean view and takes you back to the Nags Head of the past. Totally renovated for modern living, but decorated in a fun, 60's vibe for a blast from the past! It has been at its current location since 1960, a year before Nags Head was incorporated as a town, but is thought to have been a part of the Civilian Conservation Corps camp on the Outer Banks from the 1930's playing a role in FDR's New Deal, housing workers planting sea grass.
Owners purchased the bungalow in the spring of 2010 and have extensively renovated while maintaining its vintage charm and character. Step back to Outer Banks vacations of the past with mid-century style and completely renovated kitchen and beautifully updated bathroom! Just four houses from the beach the front porch has a wonderful direct view of the ocean – perfect for your morning coffee or evening cocktail. It also has a wonderful large back screened porch. All TV's are smart, in addition to cable, so you can stream, catch the weather or the game, or play games. The Queen Bedroom has a temper pedic bed for maximum comfort on your stay at this lovely cottage by the sea.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.
