A gem of a home in a sweet beach neighborhood! Kim made sure we had a great week in her well-appointed home. Vacationing during COVID was a nerve-wracking prospect, but the house was so sparkling clean that those concerns were put to rest immediately. The reno is stylish and the home so comfortable that the 6 of us settled in and stretched out for a week of play (and a little work on the lightning-fast wifi). The private beach is very close and A1A fairly easy to cross - 3.5 minutes and your toes are in the sand. We enjoyed walks/runs in the neighborhood (Ryckman Park is lovely on the river side). The friendly neighborhood is quiet, but not so silent that you feel like you’re disturbing folks. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking-in and Kim was ready with suggestions for eating-out (Squid Lips, Sundaes on the Beach, Oceanside Pizza & Moos were our faves). The outdoor shower and ping pong table were hits with our college kids, but the beach cruiser bikes were the cherries on top! The airport was close and local shopping was plentiful (Publix, CVS, Surf Style and the Turtle Preservation Society are all within a couple miles). We are now spoiled for any other vacation spots.
