Feel right at ease in this welcoming country style home, which was selected by the BBC l to be filmed in their series "Wanted Down Under." about British people who were considering migrating to Australia.
Featuring large rooms with lovely wooden floors. Formal dining and lounge, huge family room and country kitchen. Four bedrooms [2] Bathrooms.and fully ducted Air Conditioning
Outside area has an all weather pergola overlooking the large Hollywood style Swimming Pool.
Enjoy a steak on the barbeque or take a short stroll to Mindaries beaches . Why not take a bottle of wine and watch our amazing sunsets over the ocean.
We are situated approx 200 meters from Mindarie Marina with its pubs and cafe strip.
Try a boutique beer at the new trendy "Indian Ocean Brewing Company." or "The Boat Ale House" or just enjoy a meal overlooking the beautiful harbour !
Tennis courts are close by, there are parks for the children including a picturesque duckpond which is just five houses away. Close to bus and train station. The house is well located for everything you need.
A ten minute drive will take you to Yanchep national park where you can see Koalas, visit adjacent golf course and watch all kinds of Australian wildlife, Kangaroos and Emus roam freely through the course.
If you fancy wine tasting the Swan vally has many wineries to visit or take a boat trip on the Swan river. Joondalup Resort [is an award winning golf resort] close by where you can play golf or visit their local pub The Kangaroo Arms. Information for local attractions will be left for you to browse through. We will be happy to help with any inquiries.
Tea,Coffee, milk and a complimentary bottle of Champagne will be left for your convenience.

Unfortunatley, we are unable to accept pets. It is a NO SMOKING home and we ask that any visitors that choose to smoke keep to outside areas only and use ashtrays provided.

This makes it ideal for BBQ's and picnics.
Enjoy watersports, snorkling,[ why not learn how to dive] or just laze round the pool and work on your sun tan!
The historic port of Freemantle is about 45 mins drive,you can also get there by train or treat yourself and enjoy a pleasant trip by boat!
You can take a river cruise down the Swan River, visit the wineries on the way and enjoy wine tasting. There are many wineries in the Swan Valley. Take the Ferry and visit Rottnest Island for the day and see our Quokkas.
If you would like to see Kangaroos and Koalas, Yanchep National Park is a ten minute drive,where you can see many forms of Australian wildlife. Have a meal or a beer [or both] at Yanchep Inn while you are there!

Summary: While this property has a lot of potential we encounted a lot of problems. After booking the house the owners changed the bedding situation without telling us. We were told this was due to legislation but i assume extra isurance was not wanted to be paid. This did not leave us enough time to find another home to suit our needs.We also found out a few days prior to arriving that the home was part of a duplex and there was a separate unit on the property. While fenced off it is directly connected and effects things like parking and always worrying you are making noise that could annoy the tennants.We also had to constantly fix issues in the house and noticed a lot of required maintenance. Door handles not working properly, a shower tap washer replaced, beds being held together with scrap wood and screws, floor boards coming apart everywhere (had to hammer a couple nails down that were sticking up), pool fence rusting away and gate that doesnt always latch and an air con that only worked half the time due to electrical issues the owner knew about. It seems the owners are mostly aware of all issues but dont want to fix anything. The house on a whole needs a lot of attention. For the money paid I did not expect a house with lots of things falling apart and bed setup we couldnt use. Also no imformation on the property details of anyone else living on the property. We ended up buying blow up beds.A lot of potential but needs work and description not really accurate
