Welcome home! Our recently updated lakeside townhome is perfectly situated in Bayou Village on the bay side of Sandestin Resort and offers 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and an additional “bunk room”. 628 Bayou Drive sleeps 8 guests and features a spacious floorplan, plush furnishings, a screened-in porch, and stunning views of Choctawhatchee Bay and the Resort. Hop on one of our two golf carts and head to the beach or take a short ride to the nearby Village of Baytowne Wharf for amazing restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and more! No matter where you are, fun is always on the horizon at 628 Bayou Drive!
The first floor of our home features all-new flooring, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a half bath, a “bunk room” with a bunk bed, a sunny living room, and access to our spacious screened-in porch! The kitchen features ample counter space, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. It is also equipped with all the cookware and dinnerware needed to prepare and serve a gourmet meal. Our sunny dining area, complete with seating for four, is the perfect place to share a delicious meal and enjoy time with family and friends. For a quick snack, guests can enjoy seating for two at the kitchen bar. Our thoughtfully designed living area offers a plush sectional with a pull-out mattress, a smart TV, and access to the screened-in back porch. The fully furnished back porch is the perfect place to relax after a long day of sun and sand and features a table for six, two patio chairs, a smart TV and a new gas grill!
Both the primary and guest bedrooms are located upstairs and offer stunning views and spacious accommodations. The primary bedroom features a luxurious king bed, a smart TV, a furnished private balcony overlooking the lake, and an ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combination. The guest bedroom features a cozy queen bed, smart TV and an attached bathroom with tub/shower combination.
For your convenience, there is a full-size washer/dryer and high-speed wireless internet is complimentary.
Bayou Village overlooks a scenic lake and offers a view of Choctawhatchee Bay and the Baytowne Marina. There are two nearby swimming pools that guests are welcome to enjoy and catch-and-release fishing is allowed at most of the lakes and ponds around the resort. In addition to seven miles of waterfront, the Resort offers 4 championship golf courses, 14 tennis courts, hiking, fishing, kayaking, boogie boarding, miniature golf, fabulous restaurants, unique shopping, and more!

Summary: We loved the condo. It was very clean, nicely updated. The beds were comfortable and the location was great. The only thing that we would have asked for would be to have more towels. There were six of us and not enough towels. But other than that it was good!!
