Summary: First impressions weren’t good, stood at check in waiting for about 5 minutes while the 2 members of staff served 1 group of 3 in the bar with drinks. Staff did not acknowledge us and when they did check us in there was no apologies for the delay. Went in the lift and there were condoms on the notice about breakfast making us wonder what sort of hotel we had gone to. Room was big with a lovely bathroom but bed was too soft to sit on comfortably, although not too bad for sleeping. We were at the end of a corridor furthest away from the lift and you could hear everyone in the corridor as the sound was amplified so it was a disturbed night sleep with people going back to their rooms chatting and doors banging closed. Although we couldn’t hear noise from outside the hotel. Lighting was not very good for reading after dark and the curtains did not filter out much light. Room description states there is a kettle along with an espresso machine but no kettle provided.
