This bright and beautiful, updated 3 bed/3.5 bath townhome is conveniently located under a mile from the Steamboat Ski Area, around the corner from grocery stores, and less than a 10 minute drive to Downtown. A block from the free city bus stop and across the street from Strings Music Festival and the bike path into town, you’ll have easy access to explore all of Steamboat. Comfort, style, and amenities to boot, this property has a Tesla EV charger and private sauna and is true to its name as basecamp for year-round Rocky Mountain fun.
Basecamp has three levels of well-designed space for gathering and relaxing. Enter the foyer where plentiful coat racks and a bench make getting out the door easy. As you walk up the stairs to the main floor, the panoramic view of the Steamboat Ski Mountain is the focal point of a living room designed for conversation- you may see a hot air balloon, Winter Torchlight Parade and fireworks, or maybe a moose or two! The open floor plan allows for meals to be prepared in the chef’s kitchen and served on the large dining table all while engaging in the fireside stories of the day’s adventures. Unwind from activities and relax on the deck to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. In fair-weather months gather, grill, and dine al fresco on the private patio. Be sure to stash your gear in the two-car garage with Tesla EV charger and use the Ski Wax Bench for tomorrow’s turns!
Ample sleeping space hosts your adventure entourage. The main level primary bedroom has a king bed, Smart TV, and ensuite bath with washer dryer, double vanities, and dual showerheads. Summary: Overall a fantastic stay at the property. Only complaints we had is the upstairs and loft are basically useless due to the heat. We would have loved some extra fans with it having no AC. The speakers and TV’s did not work throughout the entire house as well.
