Positive: The apartment is indeed really nice and spotless clean. It had all the amenities we needed, and as it's an apart-hotel the building has services such as concierge, baggage service, pool and little shops on the ground floor (clothes, barber, bakery etc). The location is very nice, the beach is just outside and in walking distance to the lighthouse (Farol da Barra) which is a nice place to visit in Salvador. The owner is also very helpful and friendly (Rafael) and gave us lots of tips. Overall I wish we had stayed there longer to enjoy it even more! I would certainly book it again.
Negative: There's no sea view, which would have been awesome... the location (and one of the pictures) might have led me to imagine I would wake up with a sunrise on my window, but I don't really remember it being advertised. It's a minor downside though... The sofa bed in the living room could have been better, but for two small kids it was ok.
