Casual yet stylish four bedroom home with a loft! All the conveniences of home and none of the boring. It feels like a vacation the minute you walk through the front door. Our home is spacious and open with beautiful views of Hull Creek. The home is set on a private wooded lot with room to explore! I have provided badminton, bocce ball, cornhole, paddleball, two kayaks and a wagon to haul your chairs or kids to the docks. There are a variety of life jacket sizes, and folding chairs as well. The home’s style is decidedly rustic in the best sense of the word. You won't feel boxed in with a light and open floor plan, perfect for gathering friends and family. I have appointed the home with your comfort in mind, I continue to update and improve the home and amenities, recently adding a coffee bar. The kitchen is well appointed with quality appliances to create a home-cooked or gourmet meal to share. Basic nonperishables are provided for your convenience and are listed in the hospitality manager on HomeAway/VRBO. The spacious master suite has a king size bed and access to the deck and beautiful tree-lined and water views. It has a large adjoining bathroom with a rain shower and a deep soaking tub for your relaxation. The downstairs bedroom has a half bath across the hall and the two upstairs bedrooms share a jack-n-jill full bathroom. Each is appointed with cosy bedding and your comfort in mind. Extra blankets are in a trunk in the master bedroom. We have a private dock for crabbing, fishing, reading and relaxing. A neighbourhood dock, (a five-minute walk) is available for boating (you provide) swimming and sunning on Hull Creek. It is the best place to launch boats. Grab the wagon and some beach chairs and stroll on down Greenway Drive. By boat (you provide) or kayak, enjoy a beautiful white beach where Hull Creek meets the Potomac Bay near the Chesapeake Bay. The neighbourhood is small and quiet and the streets are private, perfect for a morning walk or jogging. Bring the kids bikes and let them explore without the bustle of cars. Again, perfect for relaxing and exploring alike. The Rivah as the locals call it has many quaint villages including Heathesville, Reedville, Kilmarnock, White Stone, and many in between. Year-round you will find festivals and events by checking a local Northern Neck Directory. Each of these towns offers the best local seafood eateries, antiques, trash to treasure shopping, and historic architecture and sites. The Main Street in Reedville is particularly notable for its seasonal home decorating featuring the fourth of July, Halloween, and Christmas! Not to be missed are the beautiful Victorians on the main street of this fishing village. Catch one of many Ferry rides, including day and overnight trips to Tanger Island. There are also local charter fishing companies. The most current information and the best resources can be found in local Rivah periodicals available at the grocery store. The home's private setting is a true escape from the suburbs! Enjoy it equally in the summer or winter months.
