HGTV's celebrity designer, Jesse Escalera thoughtfully designed every inch of this home to emulate the ultimate private resort style experience.
Bandolier Ridge's unique look is a contemporary take on Rustic Western Style outfitted with spectacular custom features that are sure to blow your mind.
Upon arrival to Bandolier Ridge, you will be greeted with spectacular panoramic desert views and a quick stroll up to the front door through our cactus garden.
As you approach the front door, get ready for the big reveal. There's a lot to take in, but the first thing you will notice is 30 feet of sliding glass doors separating you and the massive waterfall in the backyard. This waterfall was designed to mimic the surrounding rock landscape and bring the colors of the land into the home.
The open floor plan blends the kitchen, dining, and living room into a great room where everyone can be together whether you're cooking up a feast or lounging on the couch.
Down the hallway are all three bedrooms. We really wanted every bedroom to feel special because we want our guests to be excited about the sleeping arrangements, no matter which room they end up staying in.
The first room is the Bunk Room. When we decided to incorporate a bunk bed, we wanted to make sure it was one that we would be happy to sleep in ourselves. So, this custom made double queen bunk is extra strong, ultra comfortable, and styled thoughtfully.
The next bedroom on the right is the Queen Room. If you came to the desert for the views, this room is for you. With French Doors on two walls, you can't really look anywhere without taking in some nature.
The King Master really speaks for itself. It's full of custom details. Some of those details are in your face, like the enormous wooden wall mural behind the bed and the huge glass double shower with exposed copper pipes. Some are more subtle like the glowing lights throughout the room that help carry the magical ambiance that you will feel throughout the home.
Whether you feel like soaking in the spa listening to the sounds of the rushing waterfall, roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or gazing at the twinkling stars on the front deck... The exterior features at Bandolier Ridge will really enhance your outdoor experience.
If you've made it this far, you get a special tip: There is a secret door in the home that leads to our Speakeasy Game Room. The question is... Will you be clever enough to find it?!

Summary: I found the Bandolier Ridge while searching many homes in Joshua Tree for a weekend getaway with friends. This house stood out because of its amazing interior design. Since our group was all guys, we wanted a more masculine vibe versus the traditional decor in other homes in that area. This house did not disappoint! From the moment you pull up, the house stands out with its clean landscape and beautiful design. Stepping inside takes you into a whole new world. The wall to wall glass doors into the back yard pool, stunning! The vibe is on point and makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. The views from this house overlook Yucca Valley since you are located within the mountains. The house has everything you need for your stay. From the fully stocked kitchen to the outside grill, all you need is to bring your food and drinks and you are set. The bedrooms are really nice with big beds. If you are lucky to stay in the primary suite, you are in for a super relaxing sleep. By far one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The house has AC so it is perfect for the summer heat. But the best way cool off is to enjoy the amazing pool with the breathtaking waterfall feature. The waterfall running while you cook or hang out in the living room is such as nice touch. 5 Stars across all categories! Lots to do in this house if you are there with family of friends. Located close to town if you need anything during your stay.
