Positive: Super Accommodating Staff – The hospitality here is on another level. Even though the check-in area was quite far from the cabin, they personally went with us, brought our food, and even set up the bonfire equipment when we asked. It really felt like they thought of everything to make our stay as smooth as possible. I think it was even the owner who checked us in, which made it feel even more personal. Good Security – The cabin is right next to a police barracks, so we felt really safe the whole time. Pet-Friendly! – They weren’t just accommodating to us—they were super welcoming to our two dogs as well! It’s not always easy to find places that truly embrace pets, but they made us feel like it was no problem at all. Breathtaking Views – The location is amazing! Since it’s on top of a mountain, we had the best view of the surrounding area, and we could even see parts of the rice terraces in the distance. Perfect spot to just sit back and take in the scenery. Fast Internet – There’s usually no mobile signal in the area, so we were relieved that the WiFi in the cabin was strong. It was great to be able to reconnect every time we got back. Parking Available – Having parking here is such a luxury, especially since it’s hard to find in the area. But fair warning—the road going up is steep and a bit intimidating, which is pretty common in this region. If you’re not used to mountain roads, it might feel a little nerve-wracking, but it’s manageable. Honestly, I’d give the staff and the owner 11/10 stars! Their hospitality made all the difference, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.
Negative: No Electricity During the Day – Power is only available after 4 PM, which was a bit inconvenient when we checked in around 1 PM. Good thing it was breezy, so it wasn’t too uncomfortable. Plus, during the other days, we were out exploring, so it wasn’t a huge issue. Weak Water Pressure – It could definitely be better, but at least there was still running water even when the power was out.
