Balranald Shepherds Huts are just outside the quiet village of Brora in the Highlands of Scotland. The hut sleeps up to three with one double bed and a single bunk. A log burner keeps the hut cosy with wood supplied.. A kettle and toaster with crockery as well as all bedding is supplied in each hut. Sitting right next to the huts is the bothy, with basic kitchen facilities, cooker/oven, microwave and fridge. The toilet and shower area benefit from underfloor heating. All towels supplied. Outside is a seating area with use of a gas bbq and additional benches and fire pit for those wanting a slightly more adventurous evening, perhaps even catching the northern lights. The cost is per hut, dogs are very welcome £4 per dog per night to be paid on arrival, a maximum of two per hut. There is a travel cot and bedding available if needed.. Just five minutes off the A9 on the NC500 route. This is a superb location for a walking, driving, cycling, fishing or golfing holiday. The local Clynelish Distillery is just a stones throw away and does tours throughout the year. Alternatively you may just wish to enjoy the peace and quiet! Brora is a short twenty minute walk away with a choice of shops and eating places. Bikes available too.
